CORNER OF CASTLE SQUARE AND WIND St.
Yates's Are an independant brewer with purpose.
They hit on a good theme a decade ago and have milked it to the extreme. If you are reading this from any other town that has a Yates's, you will know the layout of the Swansea Pub!
They are the public house equivalent of Macdonalds, you know what you will get wherever you visit one. They have the advantage that they offer a lot more than Macdonalds!
The Decor is fairly simple upmarket city pub, there is lots of varnished woodwork and acres of tiled floor. They have a balcony upstairs overlooking the bar
Daytime it is a quiet place, they serve good quality food which is a little expensive but certainly not overpriced.
In the Evenings they cater fully for the pre-club crowd. Top local DJs will bombard you with the trash end of the chart.
There are plenty of doormen and little trouble occurs.
During the Summer Yates's Co-sponsor live music in the Castle Square And Singleton Park in association with the City Council
Closest pub, The Cross Keys, 150 Yds, go along the side of Castle Square and turn Left along Princess Way
