When The City Council redeveloped Wind St, they promised a Cafe cultue but delivered only corporate theme pubs, the only Cafe Bar to open was monkey, sited about 100 yards away in Castle St. Downstairs is nicely decorated with a patterned tiled floor and lots to look at on the walls between gulps at your beer. The bar is at the back and is well stocked woth bottles + a few draught beers. Upstairs is a small function room decorated with Planets and stars on walls and ceiling, There is a built in DJ console and it is just large enough for bands to play.
